Upon winning the public sector of the Mayor's Innovation Challenge, my team -consisting of myself and David Kubik- was awarded a 4-month paid internship with the City of Kingston and a $10,000 operating budget to develop our proposed project, Rediscover Kingston, a building detection app that provides historical information and photos as well as current business information.In addition to building our project, we were also given the opportunity to collaborate in city initiatives and projects.
