Lead efforts to establish organizational systems for increasing efficiency and assessing/setting priorities. Develop and implement recruitment and growth strategies.• Fundraising: Lead all development efforts including grant applications and management, general campaign (online, direct mail), fundraising events, and major gifts acquisition. Work directly with senior leadership and lay leaders to develop a culture of philanthropy among participants and The Miracle Project's network of supporters.

Established an engagement and fundraising strategy aimed at strengthening support, increasing readership, and building community around Tribe Media Corp. brands including the Los Angeles Jewish Journal and Jewish Insider.• Strategy: Worked with both editorial and business staff to establish goal-setting initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, strengthening organizational capacity and engaging new and existing community partners. • Fundraising: Oversaw all community campaign, grant applications and major gifts efforts as well as worked directly with the board and senior leadership to expand lay leadership opportunities at Tribe Media. • Programming: Produced large-scale events as well as well as execute intimate programs (symposiums, workshops, tours) for community members and philanthropists aimed at strengthening relations with Tribe Media Corp. and expanding brand.

Worked in a small non-profit consulting firm, assisting clients develop multi-year strategic plans and implementation strategies as well as provide project management support to enhance income generation initiatives and fundraising capacity.• Strategic Planning: Conducted extensive stakeholder research and landscape analysis and developed five to ten year strategic plans for a large local nonprofits aiming to expand organizational capacity and long-term sustainability. • Communications: Assisted clients on developing fundraising and promotional materials to achieve organizational strategic goals.

As Los Angeles’ largest Jewish non-profit, I established strategic partnerships with other community organizations and initiated new programs to strengthen the skills and abilities of LA’s most creative Jewish minds. In that role, I implemented and coordinated PresenTenseLA – a ten-month social entrepreneurial fellowship, which in less than two years became LA’s premier Jewish leadership program and successfully incubated over 20 new social ventures. • Developed and facilitated trainings based on IDEO’s human centered design thinking methodology for community leaders and social entrepreneurs.• Recruited and empowered a 15-person steering committee of philanthropists and community leaders to take ownership of all PresenTenseLA visioning, admissions, development and recruitment efforts. • Built a 70-person network of business professionals and community leaders to serve as mentors and coaches for the social entrepreneurial Fellows. • Conceptualized and executed large-scale, innovative, bi-annual events (300+ people) that showcased the work of local social entrepreneurs and notable public figures as well as planned intimate networking and professional development programs (speaker series, symposiums, workshops, etc.) for community partners, educators, and philanthropists. • Served as a strategic advisor to the PresenTenseLA Fellows, providing guidance and feedback as they developed their entrepreneurial ventures. • Directed all fundraising and grant application/reporting activities for PresenTenseLA.• Managed all communications, marketing and branding efforts for PresenTenseLA, including development and administration of the website and social media platforms.

As the leading progressive Jewish advocacy and policy group in D.C., I worked to connect constituents across the U.S. to the Center’s robust legislative agenda, including civil rights, reproductive freedom, and environment justice. I also supported the Center’s branding and communications efforts on multiple platforms. • Created engaging social justice programs in partnership with synagogues and community groups across the country to connect young professionals to the Center. • Designed and implemented communications and branding campaigns around the Center’s 50th anniversary. • Developed and executed a successful fundraising campaign targeting program alumni.

Developed and wrote on deadline a daily digest of health care policy news for Kaiser Health News, American Health Line, California Healthline and iHealthbeat as well as conducted daily research on the latest health care reform developments, medical breakthroughs, and industry related affairs.
