• Working with 16-18 year olds on Study Programme helping them find work experience and moving them on to apprenticeships, jobs and further education.
• Engaging with local employers to set up work placement opportunities for students to gain actual work experience.
• Ensuring once a company is brought on board I am then responsible to complete a full health and safety vetting of the premises and record all findings correctly and action any issues I feel could impact on the student.
• Liaise with external sources such has youth offending and care to update them on the progress and support required for their students.
• Complete one to one reviews with all students setting SMART targets and signposting to external support organisations when required.
• Sourcing local providers to ensure all students progress in a timely manner to full time work, apprenticeships of higher education.
