As a Lab Assistant at Bakar Labs, I have developed a strong technical skill set and gained extensive experience in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of laboratory environments. My role involves ensuring that all lab equipment is operational and appropriately utilized, which is crucial for the smooth running of various research activities.

Delivered outstanding customer service in a dynamic, high-end country club setting, consistently providing an elevated dining experience for members and guests. Skillfully managed multiple responsibilities, including taking orders, delivering food, and assisting with the coordination of special events to ensure smooth operations.Getting to know the guests was especially meaningful to me, as I grew up working in my family’s restaurant, where we had many regulars. Building those personal connections with members and guests at the country club reminded me of the importance of creating a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, just as we did in our family business.

This position allows me to work alongside other student ambassadors across the country in a fight for men's health. Young men are often ignored or brushed off when it comes to their mental and physical health, especially when discussing these topics with their peers. Too often we hear guys tell their good friends too "man up" which has lead to societal pressure for young men to not visit the doctor or discuss their mental health in fears that they will be seen as "less of a man". As a student ambassador of Movember and a member of greek life at UC Berkeley I will host a few philanthropy events where we will discuss many of these outdated stigmas and to remind young men that there is support for them.
