I am a hard-working and ambitious professional, with a BSc(Hons) Civil Engineering degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2018 and since been living in Australia, returning to the UK in June 2024.Upon returning I am looking to continue my development, follow my passions and goals and kickstart my career within Urban Design or Sustainability sector. I have a strong desire to take this path in my career and combine my knowledge and passion into creating a more sustainable functioning environment. I have a keen eye for detail, an analytical mind set and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously on site. A confident communicator with interpersonal skills who is able to work effectively in any environment and have demonstrated success in team based environments as well as working autonomously whilst maintaining my own professional and personal development.Since relocating to Melbourne, VIC in Late 2019 I worked in a variety of roles, gaining valuable experience and developing both industrial and interpersonal skills through working in Construction, Warehousing, Agriculture, Energy (Solar Farm) and Mining roles. Spending my first two years struggling to secure a role in Melbourne, being in and out of lockdowns, in May 2020 I decided to leave to leave the city and complete agricultural work and gain government incentives before an impending second winter lockdown. After living in Regional VIC, Far North QLD and Sydney, I relocated to Perth to pursue work in the Mining sector. Following lots of time for development of knowledge, skills and experience. I am now seeking work back in my field to further grow and shape my career back in the UK, I have a date of moving into London the latest 8 June, but am open to bringing forward if the right opportunity arises!

Throughout these times, I would often assist the Inventory Manager in dealing with the deliveries more specifically, ensuring everything was to order and following up discrepancies.Eventually, after I had shaken off a minor injury which stopped me from starting as a delivery rider in the first place, I booked in my Rider Training to do deliveries on the MILKRUN Zoom Electric Bicycles. After this I would juggle in-between the 3 roles wherever I was needed most. Mainly as a delivery rider, with my contract being moved over to this role, and this being my preferred role. Show less

I enjoyed this role as I would truly believe in the products/services and their benefits to the consumer and the planet, whilst enjoying the challenge of attempting to influence a customer, who would often open the door with a negative mind-set. With a keen interest in sustainability, I enjoyed educating and pushing for others to lead a more green and imperishable lifestyle. After applying my passion and knowledge to exhibit the benefits of the products and services at hand I would then, if possible, attempt to use my knowledge I had gained of the customers current billing, lifestyle and circumstances to tailor a beneficial program to them. The main service that Redwood provided that made me truly believe these services would improve many aspects of the people and the planets welfare was the Bill Tailoring program, where no upfront cost was needed, as most expect, instead the savings from your electricity bills (60-80%) would be used to pay off the cost of the installation of the product. My main selling technique would be explaining to the customer, they are essentially paying for the product already.Key learning points from this role would've been the use of sales psychology, e.g body language, tones of voices and the ability to maintain motivation and positivity past rejection. Offered a role from a previous colleague who had taken up a role as Manager of Lets Go Ltd's punting sector, I joined a new role where I held multiple positions, utilising my experience of working in the industry since the age of 17. Predominantly, I held the role in which I had the most experience in as a Tour Guide of the famous college backs of Cambridge, providing informative and entertaining tours of one of the oldest universities and most popular tourist attractions in the area. This allowed me to build on my communication skills, both one-way and two-way to build rapport with customers and provide the best possible service to customers, often visiting the city for the day and leave a positive lasting impression. Due to my experience in many areas, from holding a supervisory role for my previous employer I would often assist in whichever area of the business may be short of/needed additional assistance. These circumstances often arose due to the unpredictability of the tourism industry. These alternative roles included Cashier, where I would handle all payments and organise tours to make sure no delays occur and deal with enquiries. In addition, at the latter stages of my time with the company I took up Sales Representative duties, as each company would only be permitted two Sales Representatives at a time, due to the competition amongst other companies in the vicinity. Therefore, this meant that I would have to build up my reputation within my new company and await for an opening to hold such a position. This position, encompassed a positive, competitive and fast thinking mindset on a day-to-day basis due to the high level of competition. Show less

In the final season, me and 3 friends who were also long term employees of TCT ran our own division of the company from both the sales side and organisation to tour guides.
