I have been with WSP Development and Transportation since the beginning of 2008, and I am currently working as an Associate managing the Engineer/Safety and Sustainable Transport Team and the Traffic Management Team subcontracting to FM Conways on the Westminster City Council Highways Contract.

I have had 27 years dealing with Traffic and Transportation issues and 10 years experience in the assessment of Section 38 applications.I have been with WSP Development and Transportation since the beginning of 2008, and I am currently working as an Associate managing the Engineer/Safety and Sustainable Transport Team and the Traffic Management Team subcontracting to FM Conways on the Westminster City Council Highways Contract. I am fully familiar with public sector practices and procedures, liaison and the delivery of professional engineering services. My specialist technical skills are in traffic management and traffic engineering.I am currently responsible for the delivery of projects involving management of project programmes including feasibility studies, investigations, design and implementation. I am an experienced Traffic Management Engineer with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. I have gained a diverse range of experience during 27 years of professional practice. I have held positions both in the public sector and with private consulting firms, actively involved in the planning, design, construction and operation of a wide variety of transportation facilities and private developments.I have been involved in a wide range of traffic engineering and road safety projects, including liaison with local authorities, project management; public consultation; design and review of various traffic calming schemes; design and review of parking schemes and controlled parking zones; accident analysis; accident investigation and prevention work; design and review of pedestrian crossings and transport assessments.

including £2.5M Bus Lane Project. This has included design of pedestrian crossings, traffic calming measures, junction improvements, footway improvements and cycle facilities. Project Management of Controlled Parking Zone Consultation, Detailed Design and Implementation for Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. Development Control work for Bournemouth Borough Council. This work included the assessment of the highway aspects of medium and large planning applications and the writing of reports for planning committee.Traffic Management Studies for London Borough of Camden. This included accident and traffic assessment and the writing of reports for schemes such as safe routes to school, bus lanes, pedestrian crossings, traffic signalized junctions, assessment of existing controlled parking zones for possible improvements and the assessment of the need for disabled parking. Project management of Safety Studies for Bexley Council from initial study to detailed design and implementation. Safety Studies for Bournemouth Borough Council including route studies, cycle facilities and pedestrian facilities from initial study to detailed design.
