I became a fully qualified chartered accountant (CA) in 2008 and took on my first industry role with MTN Group.After 5 successful years, I had my first spell at BTE Renewables (part of BioTherm Energy) where I returned as CFO in 2018 having been approached by the CEO to build out the functions and processes required to achieve a successful exit. Following that transaction, I remained in situ to integrate BTE into the Actis portfolio successfully professionalising the business to fit with a global investor that positioned it for a second exit at a higher market cap.Since March 2022, I have been CFO of Nala Renewables - a global developer, owner and operator of renewable infrastructure in scale-up phase – with a remit to build a scalable back-office infrastructure incl.
