This role built my financial analysis and risk management skills working in a senior analytical position in a large commercial banking centre. I was involved in; Preparation of financial reports and risk analysis on complex commercial and agricultural businesses. Inputting of financial data into analytical software and interpretation of trends and results. Then communicating findings to senior management. Management of a portfolio of large clients and constant interaction to acquire information and also meet their funding needs. Training of the future graduates in interpretation of financial data and report writing.

As a graduate in the Commercial Banking unit of the Westpac Banking Corporation I was given the opportunity to rotate through various roles. My placements in credit and sales roles gave me solid grounding in the various aspects of the lending process and the services provided by the bank. Strengthened my financial analysis skills whilst spending four months as a Commercial Credit analyst.Funding decision making. Accurate decisions for provision of finance to clients during a rotation as a credit manager for Small to Medium enterprises. Feasibility and compliance analysis to approve finance.Sales experience with direct customer contact with large commercial clients and high net worth individuals
