In this position I operated as a cohort lead on Flatiron School's Enterprise wing, partnering with the Deloitte AI Academy to provide support for the full time intensive data science program. Proud to have been part of the team that piloted the Deloitte Intensive AI training program, which has led to an ongoing FIS/Deloitte partnership to upskill Deloitte analysts and consultants. Topics covered include Python basics, machine learning, statistics, data cleaning and data hygiene, ethical AI, and cloud integration. Instruction I've provided in the FIS program includes lectures, code-alongs, guided pair programming, one on one meetings and support, and guided individual and group projects. In addition to technical instruction, I've also been first point of contact/last step in deployment for student wellness, community building, and other non-data science support tasks.At the completion of the Deloitte contract, I was brought on to a full time Associate Instructor position within the Flatiron School's Consumer program, and I have continued moved between the Consumer and Enterprise wing of FIS as different engagements have spun up or down. In total I worked with 2 consumer cohorts of approx 20 students through their 15 week boot camp and 3 cohorts of approx 30 learners through the Deloitte AI Academy.As an employee I've deployed Python, Github, SQL, various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), Zoom, Slack, Airtable, Jira, CodeGrade, IllumiDesk, Saturn Cloud, and instructor facing Canvas LMS. I've created supplemental curriculum exercises and lectures to address specific pedagogical needs. After each cohort I worked with the CSM and curriculum teams to iterate on lessons learned and QA deployment and roll out of new and existing material to students to ensure best learning outcomes and smooth experiences. Additionally, I created workbooks for additional lectures and exercises to supplement existing FIS materials.
