Your website is the most important sales and marketing tool that your business has at its disposal, but to harness this power you need to understand it, you need to know what it can do for you. Will it be a lead generation tool, generating sales enquiries for the services you offer; or will it sell products direct to the end customer via an online shop? It’s my job at Sokada to help you understand what you have and how to improve things, you may need a complete redesign or just improvements to specific areas of your website. If you need the site to be marketed properly whether that be with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), PPC (Pay Per Click) or social media I can help.Because I understand all aspects of your website from the design and development to the way it is marketed on search engines, I can help you make the right changes to make the most of your website.I typically work with clients who have had several unsuccessful websites, they work with designers who just want to design a site and don’t really care how it is going to be marketed; or with marketing companies who just want to implement the same techniques that they always do, regardless of whether they will work or not. Yes, a Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing approach might be a great idea but what will the visitor do when they arrive at your website; if the website is not set up properly then you will be wasting the money you spend on PPC.I can look at your website and give you the sort of advice you need, easy to understand, knowledgeable and also with a large dose of common sense.★ Are you ready to make the most of your website? ★What have you got to lose? Call me on 01435 817 226 or email julian@sokada.co.uk I would be happy to discuss your business and how we can help you develop your website correctly… you then have the choice to work with us or take the information we give you and implement it yourself.

Managing DirectorJupiter Colour (Digital) Ltd Sep 1999 - Jan 2013Heathfield, East SussexSo, the Internet was going to be big, we had a chance to be part of that. After several years of running a successful business I realised that I couldn’t do this all on my own, it’s too much of a roller coaster trying to do everything. I employed a designer and a developer, and we set about trying to build a quality company that believed in people and what we created.Over the years we saw many changes, the introduction of CSS to help style boring image and table-based website. Faster Internet speeds allowed us to add larger graphics. ASP, .NET, PHP, WordPress, Video… so much change. Marketing websites was also becoming far more important and this was something we started getting into, with more staff who specialised in optimising a website. We were asked several times to merge with other companies, to share our experience and finally we decided that this was the right thing to do; to help us grow and to become something special.| Website Design | Website Development | Blogging | Internet Marketing | SEO | Hosting | Domain Names |

Production ManagerSpeedbird Internet Jun 1997 - Sep 1999Crawley, West SussexA local entrepreneur approached me after meeting me to discuss building her a website. Impressed with what I had said to her, she wanted to set up her own website development company and wanted me to be part of the team.I had lots of roles within the company, fledgling as it was; designing websites, coding them in HTML, managing the servers, setting up the domain names properly, learning about DNS, selling websites and managing projects. I also had my first steps into managing people, staff and working with a team.In the end we went our separate ways, travelling to Crawley each day really wasn’t that much fun and I was just overloaded with work and not getting much in the way of support. When the business was shut down by the owner I stepped in and took over the client base and started my own digital agency.| Website Design | HMTL Coding | Marketing | Sales | Production Manager | Working with a team |

OwnerJupiter Colour (Print) Ltd May 1984 - Jun 1996Edenbridge, KentJupiter Colour Print was a Screen-Printing company based in Sussex, designing and printing high quality short run exhibition work and point of sale. We specialised in printing on large photographic prints, where bright colours where hard to achieve.I set Jupiter Colour up when I left school at 16. While I went to College in London to learn my trade I had my own studio at home (in the converted garage!) where I printed work for local companies. I started working for a photographic laboratory which enabled me to gain valuable experience whilst I was studying. Often spending hours cutting masks and mixing colours just so I could print one single item. I learnt a lot about listening to clients and delivering accurate, high quality work. This was a very creative time for me but also a time where I also started to learn about running a business.
