About Juliana Travis
After graduating from the University of Washington where I studied Community and Environmental Planning with minors in Landscape Architecture, Comparative History and Art, I relocated to San Francisco to pursue opportunities in environmental planning, especially on the community level, as I enter my career in ecological design and planning. Since graduating, I've participated in a landscape design/build in rural Norway; began working with Alemany Farm to develop my skills in food security and urban agriculture/horticulture; and interning with Friends of the Urban Forest to increase San Francisco's tree canopy and grow my skills in graphic design, community engagement and nonprofit processes. I'm interested in developing climate adaptation solutions for all communities and promoting equity and inclusion for health, joy and resilience in the built and natural environments.
