We also offer home insurance for empty properties when their owners are in residential care homes. Standard home insurance for empty homes rarely provides adequate cover for the property when the occupant has moved out. When the insurer advises you that 'standard terms apply' then beware, all is not as it should be because the insurer should be pointing out the fact that 'standard terms' will usually exclude malicious damage, theft, burst pipes, etc etc. We offer a policy which provides good quality cover with affordable premiums.
