Establishing a brand new Scarborough Fair after more than 230 years on behalf of North Yorkshire Council. Featuring a Winter Light Festival (November-December), a Street Arts Festival (May), a Fringe Festival (June), a Visual Arts Festival (June-August) and a Music and Extreme Sports Festival (October).

Leading the central administration and management of England’s largest annual arts festival (880 events in 126 venues, with 500,000 attendances in 2023). Working year-round with a staff and volunteer team to deliver all services, including funding and commercial development, creative leadership of artistic seasons, box office, marketing, P.R., artist services, arts industry liaison, professional development and event management. Managing all strategic and financial planning, high level corporate sponsorship, working with (and a member of) the board of trustees. Also liaising with and advising the City Council, Arts Council, national and international government agencies, officials and major arts organisations, representing Brighton Fringe, speaking publicly at events worldwide and writing in the media.

Co-running an arts centre in Woolwich, South-East London. Writing funding applications, devising arts and audience development strategy and liaising with Greenwich Council.

I co-founded Sweet Venues in 2003, growing it to become one of the largest venue production companies at Edinburgh Fringe, also producing, promoting, touring and hosting live performance across the UK and overseas.

Sweet Entertainments is a multi-disciplined arts organisation, producing, promoting, touring and hosting live performance across the UK and beyond. They also run creative workshops and a casting/rehearsal facility in Central London.
