I'm helping to migrate a Ruby/Selenium/Cucumber stack to Typescript/Cypress/Cucumber. I follow the embrace, extend and extenguish strategy to create a seamless testing experience from dev to prod.My biggest challenge is converting a testing monorepo with significant E2E (UI) testing heritage, into a more organic testing organisation: unit tests, integration tests, component tests, and api tests placed in their respective repositories. The objective is to unclog test pipelines and restore confidence to technical teams in test results.The next steps will be to provide all the tools necessary to facilitate testing, report test failures, and monitor critical user journeys while integrating testing best practices.

A lot of Rust for FOSS testing tools. Game development with Bevy, Godot, Magicavoxel and Blender. I also stream and manage a community for Indiedevcasts.

- Development of an internal framework for 150+ backend developers and used by dozens of projects. I migrated a fork version to the official cucumber-rs Rust repository where I also contributed to some features.- Creation of an A/B testing framework from scratch in Rust in less than 1 week to test the migration of critical REST api endpoints. Countless of hours saved, 2 bugs found before going to production.- I bootstraped several test projects and pipelines for different projects (RPC, HTTP, ...). I set up continuous testing, applied domain driven design concepts and focused on testing strategies for microservices.- I contributed to several testing services and tools : synthetic monitoring, libraries, contract testing, component testing.- I tested dozens of releases for one of the most critical internal project : testing plan, exploratory testing, A/B testing, security testing, team synchronizations.

As a fullstack developer, then as a tech lead, I brought my expertise to set up an on-demand web and mobile testing infrastructure on AWS.
