Two things have brought me to facilitation: on the one hand, my love for groups of people that come together to solve, co-create or contemplate something, and on the other hand, the complex nature this can have. I enjoy supporting groups by creating structure and clarity when there is chaos, and a warm atmosphere to work together.I have served as a facilitator on various types of occasions: seminars, small group discussions, workshops, processes for businesses or associations, etc. Sessions are always tailored in dialogue with the commissioner. As a facilitator, I am striving for a constructive and respectful atmosphere as well as enabling equal participation. I am currently in the process of finding my focus as a facilitator, however, I am good at estimating what kinds of jobs are in the scope of my competencies. Hence, always feel free to contact me for job opportunities. Training I received through private and Erasmus+ supported courses, such as Training of Trainers by the European Ecovillage Network, Art of Hosting at Otavan Opisto and multiple European Youth Exchanges. Recently I also gained experience in public policy mediation through my internship at Akordi, which enriched my understanding in many ways, especially on methods and phased processes.

Happy to be back at Baltic Sea Action Group! I have the pleasure to continue working at UUDIS-project (also during my internship), where a regenerative farm management tool is developed together with farmers and stakeholder groups.

I am happy to continue collaborating with Akordi as a project worker.

My internship at Akordi Oy gave me excellent insights into public policy mediation and environmental dispute resolution, it being the first organization in Finland working in this field. I gained practical experience and a methodological understanding of interest-based negotiations and ways to seek mutual gains across diverse points of view. My bachelor thesis was about a reconciliation process facilitated by Akordi (https://akordi.fi/wp-content/uploads/Kandityo_Juliane_Boy_AKORDI_301122_05.pdf). Currently, I collaborate with Akordi on an occasional basis.

I work for a half year at Green City Farm, which is a longterm-project from Perho. At the field veggies, herbs are grown - the farm also works as a learning environment on sustainable food systems.

I was lucky to have an internship at BSAG's Agricultural team!

Working with children in different age groups (from 1 to 12 years old), supporting the daily routinewith educational as well as entertainment content. All of that while ensuring the safety of the children, being fully responsible for their well-being and quality time in the institution. My work also involved groups of children with special needs, which required extra sensitivity and alternative working approaches/attitudes.

Founding Rolling Ice my brother and I closely worked together, from the vision, through concept development and marketing, to finally the realization. Besides having experienced the whole process of launching a new business, I was involved for three years in the seasonal work and development of the enterprise. As typical in small businesses, one has many different tasks to do e.g. strategizing, training new employees, marketing, serving customers, warehouse logistics etc. Occasionally I still help out at the kiosk, and I love it!
