Julian Eison served as the Managing Partner at Next Ventures, an early-stage fund with $60+ million in AUM. He invested in and led Seed and Series A opportunities within the enterprise and consumer health, emphasizing Whole Person Health at the crossroads of innovation and technology.He is passionately driven by investing in entrepreneurs who are addressing industry inefficiencies, uncovering overlooked or misunderstood historical facts or processes, and bridging generational gaps.While at Next Ventures he led investments in companies like Pair Team, Prose Foods, Adaptyx, Juno Medical, SteadyMD, Humane, Vital Biosciences, Mood Health, OK Capsule, Trial Library, Genopets, and Terra. He also deployed opportunistic growth capital into OURA. Additionally, Julian was a board member for Pair Team, Juno Medical, SteadyMD, and OK Capsule. Julian has also been an active angel investor over the past decade, supporting companies like Lemonaid, Shape TX, TRUFF, Termina, Pipe, LUSSO Cloud, Paren, and othersBefore joining Next Ventures, Julian was the founder and CEO of Eison Triple Thread, a premium consumer brand where he developed FITS, a product recommendation engine that leveraged customers' musical preferences to drive product acquisition. Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, he spent six years at Golden Gate Capital, a private equity firm managing $19 billion in committed capital, where he concentrated on deal diligence and enterprise technology and IT.Julian is an appointed Lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he teaches STRAMGT 356: Startup Garage. In addition, he is an active Kauffman Fellow (Class 27) and a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco. Julian was an NCAA Division I Track & Field athlete and Big West High Jump Champion.
