I had direct oversight of finances, human resources, store layout, sales, marketing, construction. You name it, I did it.... with the exception of servicing bikes (thank goodness!!) During my 3 years managing the operation on the ground, we were able to successfully grow annual revenue to $2.5m to become one of the busiest workshops and strongest stores in our region. Through robust development and execution of our strategy, we have been able to minimize the threat of competition from online retailers by focusing on delighting the customer with our strong emphasis on service.While I now live far away from our brick and mortar establishment, I still play an active role in special projects and the strategy of our stores.
