I graduated fom Minnesota School of Business under the major of the bachelor’s accounting program. Though I tend to be quiet, I am a fast learner and hard worker.My first and previous job was at McDonald's. Within the first 6 months at McDonald's, I was given the opportunity of becoming one of the youngest managers under the owner, but rejected to concentrate on my education. Instead, I took the role of a Crew Trainer during my last 2 years at McDonald's. I believe that this shows that I am the type of person with dedication and loyalty for my company in helping them grow along with myself.I moved on to become an Accounting Coordiantor at CBRE, of which I started as a temp for 3 months. During my temp contract, I was offered a permanent position due to my dedication and fast learning ability in the daily tasks.After 3 years, I was promoted to an Associate Accountant at CBRE, in which I have learned the processes of a monthly reporting close and the meticulous works that are involved to complete it.After 1 year, I was then promoted to an Accountant at CBRE, of which I learned new processes and efficiencies to better my relationship with my clients.After 2 years, I left CBRE to pursue a different area of Accounting. I took an offer at MNsure, and used what I had learned at CBRE to help bring some efficiencies and remake the look of some manual reports that we use on a monthly basis. I have worked with various departments in looking at possible cost savings, where monies are being spent and how some State Accounting aspects differ from what I have learned previously. Through this current job, I have learned how to use the basics of Microsoft Access, of which I did not use at my previous job. Though it is only mediocre knowledge that I have, I am able to build and find things that I am looking for to complete my monthly tasks.During and post-COVID-19, I am working full-time remotely for MNsure.
