I was promoted to the role to oversee business operations for a 90+ store region. In this role, I directly led a staff of 20 cross-functional team members, comprised of payroll, A/P, bookkeeping, data entry, HR, and benefits personnel.SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS:✔ Achieved timely A/P payments and maintained zero vendors more than 30 days out on payments due.✔ Analyzed and ensured alignment of expenses by running 2 sets of financials monthly for 24 months vs. other divisions only running 1 set of financials.✔ Saved $70K annually by eliminating a $100K annual maintenance contract on all office and warehouse printers; selected a “pay-as-you-go” service totaling $30K per year.✔ Significantly reduced overtime by monitoring employee productivity, holding frequent team meetings, and making changes to staffing and workflow as necessary.✔ Consistently met a 2-day goal of reporting all accidents to the 3rd-party provider by creating a tracking spreadsheet.✔ Selected as a senior leader to start up a new division that included a warehouse and office; personally hired 14 staff members for the office that supported 22 stores and expanded to 35 stores in 10 months.
