As Director General of the World Egg Organisation incorporating the International Egg Commission (IEC) group of companies, I am committed to promoting the egg and its ability to provide high quality nutrition and deliver economic and sustainable benefits for both developed and developing populations. With a background in agriculture and egg production, I gained extensive experience of the egg industry through roles within the British Egg Industry Council and as a lobbyist for U.S. based United Egg Producers. I am driven to influence positive change and utilise my deep understanding and passion for the industry to direct and coordinate international communication for the whole egg industry.A global voice of the international egg industry, the IEC represents egg producers, egg processors and the world’s top egg industry decision makers in over 80 countries. It plays an important role in representing its members at global intergovernmental bodies, including the World Animal Health Organisation, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation, the Consumer Goods Forum and Codex Alimentarius.
