I am a Director at KPMG and am proud to be part of the Accounting Advisory Services team in Toronto. Views expressed here are my own.In AAS, I support senior Finance leaders as they implement any change that impacts the accounting and financial reporting function. I help clients set a strategy to tackle complex, cross-functional projects covering a wide range of business issues including regulatory change, M&A, IPO readiness and finance transformation. I am the AAS team’s Lean in Audit™ champion and regularly collaborate with KPMG in Canada‘s finance transformation team. Working together we design comprehensive solutions to client challenges that incorporate leading edge financial reporting practices and process optimization methodology in the context of the overall business strategy. I have had the pleasure of working with large listed and private companies across a variety of industries in Canada, the US, the UK and Australia and have delivered projects in partnership with KPMG Finance Transformation, People & Change, Risk Consulting, Deal Advisory and Tax.In previous roles, I worked as an auditor with KPMG’s Audit practice in Toronto (Canada) where I audited the internal controls and financial reporting of clients ranging from private entities to public SEC registrants.
