Founder/President Of Everyone Can CodeHello! My name is Julian-Raphael Miguel King, I am 18 years old. One of the things I am interested in is traveling. I am very adamant about being able to travel and immerse myself in different cultures and learn how to interact with people in a business aspect.I have been passionate about technology ever since I was little. When I was a kid I was always playing with a new gadget, whether it was a new phone, setting up a new tv set, or setting up the projector at a party venue. By the age of six, I was known for being the tech support in my family. My father was always a resource that helped me embark on my path of technology and innovation. I realized that gender, race, and background could be limiting the number of people pursuing a career in coding. Thus started this youth organization, soon to be a nonprofit, called Everyone Can Code. I believe that computer science is an avenue to lead to new possibilities, which is what also inspired me to create Everyone Can Code because I don’t only want to explore possibilities for myself, but others as well. As for my life goals, I plan on pursuing a career in computer science, with a minor in business. While in college, I plan on seeking as many computer science opportunities as possible. Which include, but are not limited to, internships, jobs, research work, hackathons, collaborations, and mentorship programs. Which will help me build a computer science portfolio and my resume. I am a person who takes advantage of possibilities. I genuinely get excited about what's next for me, and all that I will accomplish in the future. Coding leads to possibilities, college leads to possibilities, and I want to make the best of each opportunity I get. I am overall determined to succeed, regardless of any obstacles in my way.
