I am primarily working on a project that aims to build trade related capacity of university students at the University of Zambia. The implementation of the project is done through involving relevant experts that carry out guest lectures in various trade policy areas such as basic trade policy, trade and sustainable development, Sanitary and Phytosanitary and agricultural issues. The role includes project management and M&E activities (i.e. drafting a project plan and continuously following up the project) as well as developing the project to make it more sustainable in the long run by training Zambian lecturers. Additionally I am involved in the National Board of Trade´s work on streamlining trade related development cooperation throughout the agency. This includes contributing to the agency´s development cooperation strategy, supporting other project managers and experts strategically and operationally in their work, planning of operations and communicating the agency´s work both internally and externally.

I was seconded during one year at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Liberia facilitating the governments accession - and subsequent implementation process to World Trade Organization (WTO). My duties included giving technical support to ministers and civil servants on various WTO and other trade policy issues. For instance by contributing to - and drafting - policies, strategies, memos and briefs as well as supporting Liberian staff in their daily tasks and by carrying out capacity building sessions. It also included facilitating the development of efficient organizational and institutional structures, for instance by drafting organizational charts, terms of references and implementing an electronic archive system for WTO documents. I also organized, coordinated, and participated in missions and meetings to Monrovia that were carried out by policy experts from the National Board of Trade Head Quarter in Stockholm in for instance the area of Trade Facilitation and Technical Barriers to Trade. Additionally, I contributed to on-going project management, planning and M&E activities of the project (i.e. drafting project documents and follow up reports).

I was responsible for the dossier on trade defence instruments (anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard measures) at the agency´s WTO department. My tasks included carrying out analyses on trade agreements and reports, amongst others for the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, but also communicating with companies and business organisations on specific trade defence cases. I also handled all work related to, and regularly represented Sweden in, the EU Trade Defence Instruments Committee in Brussels, in which specific trade defence cases are handled among EU member states.

Research assistant on public economics for Prof. Assar Lindbeck. I conducted background research by compiling and analyzing economic literature on private versus public sector provision of health care and education.

At the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs I was involved in the work related to a broad range of trade policy issues, such as the preparation of documents and positions for EU Trade Policy Committees and Foreign Affairs Councils as well as ministerial meetings. I also drafted reports and trade related policies, reports and agreements in areas such as trade and sustainable development as well as bilateral trade agreements. Moreover, I provided the Ministry with information about current trade activities and summarized news updates, coordinated seminars and managed the department´s social media. I also attended and participated at events and meetings organised by the Parliament, national and international organisations and NGO´s.

Full-time commitment during the summer of 2013 and 2014. The work was prolonged on an hourly basis during the university semesters. My work tasks included administrating orders and quotations in the software SAP as well as representing Tetra Pak via phone and mail towards customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Throughout my time at Tetra Pak I had very high individual customer and administrative responsibility. Flexibility, process orientation and making fast and correct prioritisations were key to be successful in this work.

Full-time commitment during the summer of 2011 and 2012 and was prolonged with up to 20h/week during the subsequent university semesters. My tasks consisted mainly of handling supplier services, coding invoices, handling orders as well as managing suppliers via phone and E-mail. All processes were handled in the software SAP.

Full-time work during the summer of 2010 and part time work during the subsequent university semesters. The tasks consisted mainly of handling guests at the front office, administrating reservations as well as organizing and managing the breakfast. During the work shifts I had the full responsibility for the hotel.

This was a full-time job for one year, both as a Piccolo/Lobby guard but also as a receptionist at the front desk. My tasks consisted mainly of managing guest check-in/out, bookings and concierge assignments. As part of my job I was also able to improve my English, apart from speaking Norwegian, German and Swedish.
