My practice is focused on litigation, including white collar crime, internal investigations, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) matters, commercial litigation including antitrust, and product liability/toxic torts. I have tried more than 40 jury trials and also have represented clients at SEC hearings. In my most recent trial, a federal antitrust case in the district of Minnesota, our client Insignia Systems, Inc., received a $125 million settlement.

  I am the chair of the Kelley Drye’s White Collar Crime and Investigations practice group, based in the firm’s Chicago office. In the 2011 “Best Law Firms” study published by U.S. News and Best Lawyers, the group received a Tier 1 – National ranking in the “Criminal Defense: White-collar-Litigation” category. The team also received Metropolitan First-Tier rankings in Chicago and New York. I joined Kelley Drye in 1988 and became a partner in 1990.
