Julia is an award-winning design leader who works at the intersection of product and design. Users earn virtual currency through social, viral and ad interactions and engage with one another through avatars, chat, sharing, and 'shenanigans.' Led design on a custom version of IMO called Miss Social, a Facebook implementation with user generated video and photo content and virtual and real currencies and an audience of 500k.Responsible for the branding, creative, and product design of all elements of the IMO system. Vp Of Creative & Ux, Founding TeamRentometer, Rentomatic Jan 2007 - Sep 2008Rentometer is a rent comparison engine with a simple, compelling interface. Based on complex algorithms and historical rent and location data gathered through 100's of millions of data points through web indexing and partnerships with large rental sites (e.g. Rent.com, Craigslist, Apartments.com). I was the co-creator of Rentometer responsible for creating the 'meter' design and brand. The website spread virally online and was covered in the blogs and media including: CNN, the NY Times, US News, Fox News, PC Magazine, Apartment Therapy, and LifeHacker. Rentometer was sold in 2011.Rentomatic is an online rental management tool for landlords, including:* Custom ‘webflyer’ generator and listing engine* Real estate based accounting system* Lease generator* Rent Payment Processing via credit card or check* Tenant portal* Reports for landlords on their properties* Tenant screeningI was responsible for all branding, design, and UX.
