Policy Researcher/Policy Scientist, Institute For Public Administration
CurrentJulia O'Hanlon leads a wide-range of public policy-related projects, and provides salient researchsupport and technical assistance to University of Delaware/Biden School of Public Policy & Administration's IPA staff, state and local government officials, andnonprofit organizations. Julia's primary expertise involves state and localmanagement, aging-related policy issues, intergovernmental relations, and publicpersonnel management. Her recent public policy and research activities have focused onprogram evaluation and funding of senior centers, researching healthy and walkable communities,and researching issues related to youth aging out of foster care in Delaware. Juliaalso serves as the IPA staff liaison with the Delaware League of Local Governments-aiding in ongoing communication among DLLG staff, local officials and staff, and IPA project leaders (e.g., maintains an online local government directory and co-coordinates the IPA Local Government Certificate Training Program).
