As a first-year Human, Social, and Political Sciences student at the University of Cambridge, I am passionate about ed-tech, culture-based learning, art and literature, history, creative industries, language learning, and expanding quality education. I am particularly interested in supporting education and policy infrastructure in developing economies. I am currently working on increasing educational access through my ed-tech start-up, Lina Labs, the Philippines' first youth-led Ed-tech company addressing K-12 learners. Through a free, low-bandwidth, and curriculum-aligned e-library, we aim to promote national educational equity throughout the Philippine archipelago and, eventually, around the Southeast Asian region. Additionally, through my work in 1:1 academic counselling, I support students worldwide in pursuing their secondary educational goals by encouraging authenticity and self-reflection in the college application process.💌 jio22@cam.ac.uk
