Passionate about my work in space and about my outreach. As founder of an employee resource group (LISTOS), that focuses on establishing community and opportunity for Latin@ at my former company, I aim to expand my network and find outreach opportunities to expand the possibilities for current and prospective employees with my community. As current VP of Corporate Relations with the local SHPE Colorado chapter I aim to build a network of corporate sponsors for the chapter to continue to aid in the professional development of our members and providing support for events that inspire greater representation of Hispanics/Latin@s in STEM.

Drafting InternSchacht Spindle May 2013 - Nov 2013Drafting parts for small manufacturing company on CNC machines. Working with MasterCam software. I also programmed tool paths for the CNC machines using MasterCAM software. I drafted technical drawings as well as non technical drawings to be used on the manufacturing floor to determine if parts were up to spec. In my time at Schacht I was able to transition the company from 2D software to 3D SoldWorks software that allowed for an easier transition between MasterCAM as just a CAM software to SoldiWorks being the primary platform for drawings and drafts.

Undergraduate ResearcherCenter For Astrophysics And Space Astronomy May 2012 - Aug 2012I worked primarily with vacuum chamber components and in clean rooms. I also did some manufacturing using the lathe and mill mostly. My primary responsibility was to get a particular vacuum chamber cleaned and re-commissioned before a particular launch date of a graduate project. It was a valuable experience and in the end the vacuum chamber was cleaned to beyond expectations and it was in better shape than ever.
