Management and supervisors have consistently recognized me to be an innovative thinker, dependable leader, and team player. I am a hard worker and adapt to creatively resolve issues with tenacity and a positive attitude. Between my experience in both medical and dental fields, I have acquired ten+ years professional experience in entry level healthcare administration. My career began as a Unit Assistant at Skagit Regional Health Hospital from Spring 2015-Fall 2018. In that position, I held responsibilities in different departments that each required technical and tactical skills for administrative support to ensure quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. I also actively participated in monthly meetings for the unit to improve workflows and department performance. My next occupational home began June 2016 at Swinomish Tribal Community's Dental Office. The duties there ranged from dental assisting to front office reception where I applied my clinical knowledge to patient care coordination. The time spent at Swinomish Dental Clinic was during an important expansion from a small public health office to a large dental care facility and clinical site for Skagit Valley College's Dental Therapy Program.Active student pursuing an associates and bachelors in healthcare administration.
