In this role, I support the work of the Corporate Affairs department, which administers the Corporate Program and serves as the Council’s primary point of contact with the private sector. Through the membership program, the Corporate Program raises $6 million to offer a forum for executives from approx. 120 leading global businesses and financial firms to explore issues at the intersection of business and foreign policy.

In this role, I support the IGNITE the Vote (ITV) campaign to meet national programmatic goals in the areas of civic engagement and community organizing by:● Formulating and executing advocacy campaigns, community education and engagementprojects around 2022 primary and general non-partisan voter education and Get Out theVote (GOTV) efforts.● Providing appropriate training, developing educational resources and supportingcapacity-building efforts for our ITV Ambassadors and program sites.● Building and maintaining relationships with, but not limited to, community stakeholders,coalitions, organizations, youth leaders, and college/high school chapters.● Leading efforts in collaboration with IGNITE’s program staff to conduct program activitiesto engage young people and provide education around the barriers to voting.● Assisting IGNITE’s ITV Ambassadors to host voter registration drives, voter educationactivities, and voting parties to celebrate voting with young voters.● Analyzing available data on voter registration, voter turnout, and demographics toidentify community needs and develop campaign strategies.

Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area

In my role as an IGNITE Fellow, I build and sustain college chapters of IGNITE throughout North Carolina. I coordinate events to build networks and provide IGNITE curriculum, including a national Young Women Run conference with 250+ registrations. I collaborate with elected officials and local organizations to lead civic engagement, and political leadership in young women. I also empower fellowship impact within the Fellowship Leadership Cohort.

New York City Metropolitan Area

In my role as the National Programs and Outreach Intern, I provide research support and assist planning for various National Program and Outreach initiatives, including monitoring policy topics and tracking peer organization activity.

In my role as a Policy Research Fellow, I collaborate with the Advocacy Team to research administrative voting rights in the State of North Carolina, writing policy memos and visualizing my findings to inform Democracy North Carolina’s impact in building political processes that serve all.

Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States

In my role as an Admissions Ambassador, I deliver 1-2 interactive, guided 75-minute tours per week of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus to prospective students and families. During each tour, I communicated the experiences and opportunities available to students and answered questions. I was chosen for this role through a selective, 3 round application process with a 15% acceptance rate.

In my role as an Experiential Fellow, I worked on socioeconomic policy research and international institutions. I also had the opportunity to utilize research and lead UN ECOSOC sponsored events regarding immigration, global health, technology, and development.
