Point person in firm’s time, billing and accounting system. Initial stages of rolling out MyJuris which is the attorney interface to Juris.•With the addition of two real estate attorneys in 2005, became familiar with SoftPro and ProTrust. Interfaces with title insurance agent auditors and assists in the audit of our title company, ProTitle, LLC.•With assistance of Technology Administrator, monitors developments in the software industry (especially legal industry specific) to evaluate application in our firm’s environment.•Implemented the firm’s first staff evaluation process.•Spearheaded second evolution and original development of the firm’s website. Initiated firm’s first marketing initiatives. Recently led the revampment of the firm and attorney’s listing on the Martindale-Hubbell directory listing. This has transpired into a large increase in client inquires and a conversion rate of 25% in the first two weeks of implementation. -Monitors developments in Social Media Marketing (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Martindale-Hubbell/Lawyers.com, Foursquare, Ning, Justia).

•Managed all financial and information system aspects of the college, which includes supervision of fifteen employees through three supervisors including The CollegeStore.•Created cohesiveness in the Financial Services and Computer Services divisions through leading by example in the areas of teamwork, empowerment and encouragement resulting in an environment where employees think ahead, monitor future trends and push themselves and the college to the next level.•Monitored and advised President and Board of Trustees of internal and external changes that affected the college. •Communicated regularly with Ohio Board of Regents, state coordinating body, in all areas of state allocations, information reporting and capital projects.•Led the college through a transition of tightly controlled information distribution to an open information environment where employees are encouraged to become informed and make decisions based upon data available. •Coordinated training of staff and budget managers in the use of reporting tools to facilitate the real-time access of information.•Coordinated the implementation of advancements in technologies and streamlining of operations with such projects as Direct Deposit and the use of Microsoft products such as Access and Outlook via an Exchange server. •Successful launch of three wireless classrooms, one at a satellite location and two additional rooms on the main campus. •During a time of resource constraints, instructed an Accounting I course pro-bono in order to increase enrollments and contain costs. This encompassed class preparation, project and homework feedback and exam creation. Overall evaluation by students indicated a willingness to work with students until they were successful in mastering topics covered. Students appreciated the comfort level created in that questions were always welcomed.

•Developed and monitored college budget of $50 million. In order to do so, mastered an understanding of all business and operational aspects of the College.•Worked with Directors of various grants at the college to develop budgets, track expenditures and submit final reports.•Served as Finance Team Leader in the implementation of the SCT Banner 2000 product. Product was implemented successfully in a record-setting three month time period. Effort converted to end-user training in the areas of On-Line Requisitions, Electronic Approvals and Document Tracking. Facilitated the development of training materials.•Served on the Human Resources and Student teams as the Finance liaison. Facilitated communications and implementation considerations among groups to assist in a coordinated implementation across Products. Responsible for all feeds into the Finance Product. •Served as Finance Technical resource due to lack of technical staffing for this capacity. In order to facilitate this role, attended the following classes at either Hewlett Packard or Oracle training centers: Fundamentals of UNIX, Introduction to SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms. Coordinated effort to use SQL Loader to feed payroll information from legacy payroll system to Banner Finance.

•Performed a three-month temporary assignment as Controller of Vincennes Manufacturing Company in Vincennes, Indiana. This subsidiary housed two manufacturing companies in the same location.•Installed two basic accounting systems. Peachtree Accounting in the Vincennes manufacturing facility and Microsoft Money in the parent office in Toledo, Ohio.•Generated consolidated financial statements for the five subsidiaries of the private holding company.

Marathon Oil Company, Findlay, OhioAdvanced Accountant – Refining, Marketing & Transportation•Responsible for capital expenditure and fixed asset tracking for the marketing organization using Dun & Bradstreet’s McCormack & Dodge fixed asset system.•Coordinator of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) accounting activities.•Persuaded and coordinated RM&T organization migration to Novell GroupWise.•Fostered the development of open communication between accounting and engineering departments which led to a combined information reporting system using Microsoft Access.Marathon Pipe Line Company (a subsidiary of Marathon Oil Company), Findlay, OhioAccountant – Controller’s Organization•Coordinated centralization of accounts payable function to Findlay, Ohio during reorganization.•Invoiced shippers of crude gathering and product movements.•Invoiced partners of off-shore joint-interest pipelines.•As a result of analyzing processes and promoting efficiencies, enabled department to absorb workloads from other accounting areas as the need arose.•Performed a three month temporary assignment in Martinsville, Illinois.
