A celebrated business influencer, Julia Polk has spent four decades pioneering innovative solutions to complex business challenges as a founder, operating advisor, board member, and CFO in child care, healthcare technology, and biotech. With the launch of ClimateWiser, Julia will dedicate her time to building a collective focused on climate action and advocacy.Over the prior decade, Julia has served as co-founder of Decode Health and IQuity Labs, which leverage machine learning and AI-driven analytics using genomic and clinical healthcare data to accelerate precision healthcare. She remains a board member and advisor to the CEO.Throughout her career, Julia has become known as much for her strategic and financial expertise as her dedication to mentorship of leadership teams, passion for supporting female founders, and ability to make lasting, meaningful connections within healthcare, technology, and venture capital. Julia has worked closely in a fractional or advisory role with more than 100 early-stage companies to build scalable businesses and raise outside capital to support them. Beginning her career on Wall Street as an investment banker, she has also served as a long-time executive committee and board member for Launch Tennessee, a public-private organization supporting entrepreneurship across Tennessee.
