About Julia Ponce-Vega

With over 20 years of experience in public service and a J.D. in Immigration, Labor, and Employment Law, I am a leading immigration lawyer and advocate who is passionate about advancing immigrant rights, labor rights, and social justice. I currently serve as the Pro Se Plus Project Associate Supervising Attorney at Catholic Migration Services, a non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance to low-income immigrants and refugees in Brooklyn and Queens.In this role, I supervise a team of dedicated professionals who help immigrants navigate the complex and often intimidating immigration system, especially in pro se cases where they have to represent themselves.
