As a partner to CHC's Learning for Equity initiative, I provide guidance, training, collaboration and support to community members and collectives around trauma-informed care and equity, serving the vision and purpose of empowering community members and stakeholders directly so that they can feel empowered to nurture and support their own communities and fellow community members.

● Providing in-person and virtual Professional Development to educators, schools and districts across the country and around the globe.● Reached over 17,000 educators within first 3 years of operation, directly trained over 400 individual educators and teams, and secured four major contracts with districts, schools and agencies.● Launched the Trauma Camp for Teachers podcast.

● Spearheading launch of Intensive Outpatient Evening Program for eating disorder clinic. ● Estimating completion of 3,000 clinical hours by June 2017.● Providing individual, group, and family therapy with emphasis on recovery from addiction, trauma processing, and resilience development.

● Contributed to development of and pitched trauma-informed “edu-tainment” concept for television series, books, and video game aligned with HKI model.● Edited My Right of Passage children’s journal and The Honor Project Guidebook, which integrated trauma-science and peace-based indigenous principles (such as honor, integrity, reciprocity, humility, etc.) into a curriculum that can be implemented and utilized in schools and communities.

● Trained team of clinicians on key concepts of Dr. Bruce Perry’s trauma research and biologically-respectful and developmentally-informed treatment model (Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics).● Created and oversaw implementation of social-emotional and developmental curriculums for groups of 6-8 typical and atypical children aged 17-24 months.● Compiled research and conducted interventions based on: emotional awareness, developmental and psychological trauma, and attachment theory.

● Presented therapeutic case conceptualizations to teams of mental health clinicians and administrators at nationally-recognized treatment center.● Collaborated with psychiatrists, case managers, and spiritual counselors to provide effective trauma- and addiction-focused therapy to adult individuals and couples.

● Co-created nonprofit organization’s 6-month curriculum for inaugural program which initially served 20 families, and now serves over 100 families.● Groceryships helps families who are paradoxically impacted by hunger and obesity in impoverished south Los Angeles neighborhoods.

● Managed and directed 6 Admissions & Placement events annually, resulting in over 700 visitors in one year, and the school’s highest application pool in a decade.

● Selected from group of 90 interns to introduce guest speakers for the Brownbag Speaker Series.● Created 4 promotional videos and slide shows of initiatives and projects.

● Spearheaded educational programs about Rape Aggression Defense (RAD), positive study and test-taking habits, and building social networks, which served approximately 150 undergraduates.
