I learned lab techniques like sputtering film deposition, photolithography, and chemical etching in order to analyze film thickness with a profilometer for an outside contractor working on new semiconductor materials. The research group was also working on organic transistors and piezoelectric sensors, projects which introduced me to scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and chemical vapor deposition. -
