I am responsible for facilitating remote and in-person instructional skills labs for life-saving certification courses in CPR and First Aid. I aid in tracking 1000+ clients’ online course progress and provide educational support.

UWiL is a competitive leadership training and professional development program that prepares students from the state’s flagship, public university for public leadership. By introducing these students to current leadership and providing opportunities for them to see first-hand the benefits of public service, UWiL provides models and pathways into government, politics and public policy – all while helping to address the gender gap in politics and creating a pipeline from public education into public service. As a board member, I contributed to the Outreach Committee's efforts of expanding the program to new mentors, students, and donors. I currently serve as the Chair of the Relationship Management Committee.

The UMass Energy Policy and Rivers group is part of the UMass Energy Geographies and Politics Project, which consists of professors and undergraduate and graduate student researchers who work on electricity policy, markets, politics, sustainability, and environmental justice. The Energy Policy and Rivers group brings special expertise on energy markets and policies related to hydropower and rivers, andrelated impacts, policy, and regulatory processes. In this group, I Investigated and analyzed developing clean energy policy and markets in Massachusetts and produced written policy analysis reports for public comments submissions.

As the Admissions and Research Graduate Assistant I am responsible for promoting admissions and programs at on-campus events, classrooms, and student group meetings. I develop and implement social media strategy, including content creation on Canva. I manage the school's social media accounts, and conduct remote and in-person outreach. I support SPP's accreditation process through NASPAA (Network of Schools of Policy Affairs and Administration) by conducting research on comparable policy programs.

As an intern, I completed projects that contributed to a clean, resilient, and equitable future for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I summarized utility investments in EV infrastructure and compared for alignment with initial proposals. I surveyed fuel terminal owners for storage capacity data to inform DOER winter fuel security analysis. I collected and aggregated DPU data from Municipal Aggregation Annual Reports for analysis, and presented this data spatially in ArcGIS and in summary graphs and tables for senior management review. The data and figures were used in DOER's publicly released draft of the Municipal Aggregation Manual & Best Practices Guide.

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) offers safety and environmental management programs to the UMass Amherst community in fire, radiation, biological, chemical, environmental health, environmental management and emergency management. In this role, I work in the Environmental and Hazardous Materials Management Department. My duties include inputting and analyzing 200,000+ data samples across the campus consisting of asbestos, lead, and PSBs tests. This data is spatially arranged through a GIS software called Invison. Additionally, I assist in completing all hazard reviews and submitting asbestos removal notifications to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

Through my independent study working with Professor Timothy Randhir, I researched options of enhancing EJ community energy access through mapping existing renewable-energy sources including wind and solar power. Specifically, I aimed to assess potential generation sites and quantify energy disparities in environmental justice communities in Massachusetts and presented my findings through GIS productions. My familiarity with this topic enhanced my ability to translate scientific information into relatable content that’s easily understood by a variety of stakeholders. I presented my work at the Massachusetts Undergraduate Research Conference in April of 2021.

As the Speaker of the UMass SGA, I was the chief presiding officer of the Senate. I chaired all meetings in which the Legislative body conducts business. I oversaw 60 student Senators in 8 standing committees involving finance, academics, and administrative affairs. Additionally, I organized and held meetings with various agencies, students groups, administrators, and government officials, acting as the spokesperson for the Senate.

I was a leader of the Legislative branch. I aided in conducting gatherings of Legislative body composed of 60 student Senators. I oversaw 8 standing committees involving finance, academics, and administrative affairs. During all meetings, I was chiefly responsible for recording all formal dialogue. Additionally, I organized and held meetings with various agencies, students, administrators, and government officials.

Under the Geosciences & Environmental Conservation Department with Professor Forrest Bowlick, I researched Geographic Information Systems (GIS) information of the Western/Central Massachusetts regions. This was focused on GIS disciplines and contacts. Duties included collecting and organizing data in Microsoft Excel in a rigorous, consistent, and coherent manner, and reaching out to, surveying, or interviewing GIS people to understand their GIS practice in work.

As a Senior Staff member, I was responsible for administrative duties such as scheduling swimming lessons for over 100 clients with online software, and handling online registration for summer camp and adventure sport programs. I also led and prepared activities for their outdoor adventure summer camp programs for children aged 4-16.

In my role, I learned a great deal about the customer service industry and I promoted positive customer interactions at the register. As a cashier, I managed monetary transactions and kept a balanced drawer. I was also trained in food preparation, such as pizza making, and barista skills to fulfill drink orders from a full espresso menu. I cooperated with co-workers and supervisors in preparing and serving meal orders.
