Julia Stella ★ Star Graphics. As a Pratt Institute graduate with more than twenty-five years experience in Graphic Design and Art Direction, I began my career in the cosmetic industry creating packages for a Manhattan-based firm with clients including Estée Lauder and Elizabeth Arden. From there, I was an Art Director for a firm that specialized in design development of various packaging in the food and beverage industry working with clients such as Kraft General Foods and Smirnoff. In 1999, I opened my own freelance business, Star Graphics, LLC and branched out into other marketing assignments including direct mail, advertising, sales promotion, media kits, corporate identity, brochures, publishing, photography and illustration. For more than six years I worked as Creative Director for Radio City/MSG Entertainment, a division of Madison Square Garden, LP for their concerts publication, formerly known as Headliner. For more then thirteen years I have been continually working with Public Television stations Thirteen/WNET New York, WLIW21 New York and NJTV as Creative Director of all nonprofit direct mail campaigns.

Creative Director of all Direct Mail Packing for PBS channels ' THIRTEEN, WLIW21 and NJTV under the agency name ISA Advertising. Noteworthy: My original Illustrations were used for notecards that I designed which were mailed out to members of THIRTEEN and WLIW21.

Designing advertising, brochures, web banners, marketing material, etc., for a wonderful company that is Increasing independence among individuals with disabilities.

Designing advertising, brochures, magazine spreads, billboards, etc. for Manhattan based retail store, ORVA Shoes.

Art Director for Hammond Tours, Luxury Tours of Ireland. Designed brochures, media kit and other marketing materials. Noteworthy: Traveled with owner to Ireland as photographer for all marketing materials.

Worked as Creative Director on HEADLINER, a bi-monthly program publication, that was handed out at venues including Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Theater at Madison Square Garden and Beacon Theatre.

Lead Graphic Designer working on promotional packaging, concept designs, sales kits, etc. in the food and beverage industry with clients including Kraft foods, Clairol, Nestle and many more.
