Improving the inducibility of vascularization in engineered tissues using genetically engineered fibroblasts. • Designed and conducted dose-response experiments to quantify growth factor production in relation to small molecule dosage. • Planned and executed bulk hydrogel experiments to optimize tunability of vascularization with lymphatic endothelial cells. • Completed florescent staining, confocal microscopy imaging, and MATLAB data analysis to quantify and analyze levels of vascularization in hydrogel experiments. • Implemented two-channel microfluidic devices for vascular perfusion modelling.
