dZi works with rural communities in Nepal to achieve prosperity by eliminating barriers to basic needs, fostering opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, and building their capacity to catalyze transformational change. At Black Fox, I conducted sophisticated, mission-aligned grant research for high impact organizations across the globe. I also analyzed complex funder data to create beautiful, streamlined reports for organizations with the goal of simplifying their application process and maximizing their chance for funding.

During my Princeton in Asia fellowship, I served with two organizations - International Union for Conservation of Nature for the fall semester as Assistant Program Officer and with dZi Foundation for spring semester as Communications Associate. In these roles, I researched grant opportunities for conservation projects and developed donor reports and other communication materials.

Leadville, Colorado

As a teaching apprentice, I co-taught three sections of US history for high school students. I also led three multi-week backpacking and canyoneering trips in addition to supervising and facilitating residential life programs.

After joining Blister full-time, I continued to test gear and write in-depth quality reviews in addition to editing other contributors' reviews and features from an array of content areas. I also coordinated gear acquisition from dozens of outdoor companies and managed over 30 contributing editors.

As a regular contributing editor throughout college, I tested ski equipment and wrote in-depth, high quality reviews for Blister. I helped grow the website through social media and college campus outreach and traveled to ski areas around the world as a spokesperson to expand the company's global presence.

During my second year as the Heather Campbell Chaney fellow, I took on more responsibility to plan curriculum and activities for all summer programs. I continued to improve my teaching skills through environmental and outdoor education classes and trained new employees how to teach lessons and guide adventure-based activities.

Received competitive Heather Campbell Chaney Fellowship position through Colorado College. While at Catamount, I designed and guided ecological and outdoor education summer programs for students ages 6-16. Programs ranged from day lessons to week-long residential trips. In addition to teaching environmental education, I also provided rock climbing, rafting, backpacking, fishing, and leadership instruction.
