As a Leave and Claims Administrator, my workday consists of: - Reviewing documentation and approve FMLA leaves of absences and disability claims- Explaining leave and claim policies to client’s employees via email and phone- Partnered directly with clients’ HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams when facilitating leave of absence benefits and company policies- Serve as a resource to employees and managers on all aspects of FMLA leave, personal leave, and military leave- Maintaining current knowledge on leave guidelines under applicable federal and state laws- Advising employees and employers of their company voluntary plan/short term disability plan- Calculating and issued client employee’s leave of absence and disability pay-Generate and distribute weekly reports to the clients
