Terrapin Beer Co. is a regional craft brewery with a portfolio averaging 22 different beers a year. The brewery is distributed in 20 states by 70 plus distributors with an internal a sales team of 22. In my 10 years with the company, we’ve grown from five thousand barrels in 2007 to over 80 thousand barrels in 2017. During that time, I have developed and managed a team of four in-house marketing professionals who handle all aspects of social media, graphic design, sales support, brewery tap room operations and POS for the Terrapin Beer Co. brand. Synergy is key to our success. My marketing team collaborates with the production and sales teams to develop each year’s brewing calendar with an eye to flavor and market trends. I then manage the project plan of each new beer from naming and package design to release strategy.
