CurrentEvaluated complicated and disjointed business processes to surface trends and evaluate business performance. Supported rapid product growth and market expansion by providing near real time reporting and rapid turnaround time for ad hoc questions and exploratory analysis. Reconciled overlapping accounts of business process definitions from cross-functional, technical, and non-technical perspectives to document frequently changing processes, identify gaps, educate peers and leadership, and advocate for improvements. Piloted new tools and methods and made recommendations for adoption.Streamlined data preparation pipelines to efficiently combine data from Indeed’s proprietary data storage system and other non-standard sources with data in relational databases. Directed data engineering to make improvements to support those pipelines and created tickets with technical specifications. Specified improvements enhanced reporting capabilities and created a manifold increase in data processing and report loading times.Recognized the need for a robust QA process to ensure data engineering efforts met requirements, discussed options with peers, data engineers, and management to align on a mutually agreeable solution. Partnered with the marketing team to develop a new campaign tracking process which enabled highly specific attribution at all funnel levels and produced the first direct marketing spend to revenue report and analysis at Indeed. Collaborated with the user experience team to produce an atheistically pleasing and easy to navigate reporting template, compliant with brand guidelines, and drove its adoption among report authors. Provided training to new team members exposing them to processes, data sources, best practices, along with diagrams and documentation which I had authored. Gleefully worked with team members to swap knowledge and expand each other’s technical capabilities.
