Julia Chaffee, AIA is a registered architect in the state of Pennsylvania. She grew up in Bloomsburg, PA and earned her B.Arch degree from Syracuse University. After graduation, Julia returned to northeastern Pennsylvania to be part of the design team at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Julia has worked from concept to construction on a wide range of project types, including residential projects, retail spaces, academic buildings, and large master plans. She has led design teams as both a Project Architect and Project Manager, and led mentorship and training initiatives as a Senior Associate at BCJ.Julia has 15 years of experience in construction documentation and detailing, 3D renderings and walk-throughs, consultant coordination, construction administration, and building strong client relationships. She also uses her design skills and attention to detail on project presentations, marketing efforts, and promotional materials. Her technical skills include Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, BIM360, Revu BlueBeam, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Julia lived in the Pocono Mountains for over 10 years before moving to historic Bear Creek Village, PA where she loves exploring nature and building blanket forts with her daughter.
