After 20 years in education teaching Sociology, Anthropology and running a Health and Social Care Department, I have taken the wealth of skills that has given me to work in mental health. The stresses of teaching have given me lived experience and insight into my current field. I am an Engagement Worker with Wellbeing who are the Suffolk and Norfolk NHS IAPT Service. My work with them has inspired me to study part time for a Masters in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing. I am passionate about harnessing the power of lived experience and empowerment so people can regain control and manage their well-being in the long term. I am massively fortunate to work with in an amazing partnership and an amazing team. I'm always looking to making links with like minded people that put the needs of clients first. I believe that in working as a network of professionals we can effect the change we all want to see in society.
