As a Medical Assistant Manager at Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre, I lead a team of over 10 medical assistants and oversee the injectable department, which consists of five doctors. I have over seven years of experience in assisting with various cosmetic injectable procedures, such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, and building long-term patient relationships through excellent bedside manner and education.I also manage the scheduling, staffing, training, and performance reviews for the medical assistants, as well as handle client concerns and consolidate reports for monthly doctors figures. I work closely with the management team and the Medical Director to implement any new decisions pertaining to business development and efficiency. My background in crisis centre volunteering has equipped me with the skills to de-escalate situations, communicate effectively, and foster a positive and productive work environment. My goal is to leverage my leadership, management, communication, and diplomacy skills to contribute to the success and growth of VLSCC and its clients.
