My focus is improving business processes throughout the company and using technology to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Results: Implemented as well as upgraded Epicor ERP software. Implemented QlikView business analytics software, and developed interactive dashboards that enable executives and line managers to focus on the metrics that drive business success. Managed the implementation of Microsoft CRM which enables the Marketing department to nurture leads through electronic campaigns and provides Sales with a central repository of contacts, pipeline information, and customer activity. Consolidated servers and reduced costs while increasing capacity using virtualization and SAN technology. As a member of the company’s core Strategic Development Team I was responsible for creating a five year plan that identified the strategic imperatives, action plans and goals.

Responsible for all technology within the company including the network wiring, switches, PCs, servers, ERP, MES (manufacturing execution software), Exchange and MS Office.Results: Implemented a shop floor data collection system that enabled real time status of production and quality assurance inspections. Installed a new AS/400 computer that increased response time and processing speed by 400% and more than doubled data storage capacity. Developed, documented, tested and maintained an enterprise-wide disaster recovery plan for IT operations. Supported BPCS ERP software. Implemented EDI with automotive suppliers.

Provided information systems consulting, specializing in EDI implementations.Results: Analyzed current business processes and opportunities for improvements for a government institution. Conducted a cost-benefit analysis of the proposed improvements. This resulted in streamlined business processes that incorporated electronic commerce and reduced the manual handling of purchase orders, invoices and checks. Integrated multiple facets of ERP systems, including Order Entry, Shipping, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with electronic commerce systems resulting in more efficient operations.

Solved software problems for manufacturing and distribution companies and assisted with EDI (electronic data interchange) implementations.Results: Achieved a high level of client satisfaction, determined by client surveys, by resolving EDI problems quickly.

Developed and promoted plans for increasing business effectiveness throughout the Corporation. Implemented and supported electronic messaging systems.Results: Developed a world-wide EDI architecture resulting in a 50 percent reduction in the manual effort required to process business transactions. Forty-seven trading partners were added, 14 EDI transaction sets where integrated with the business applications and two EDI standards were utilized (ANSI-X12 and EDIFACT). Managed a 24 x 7 Electronic Messaging Team with approximately 16,000 customers. Analyzed, recommended and implemented a Corporate-wide electronic mail system resulting in annual savings of $300,000.

Designed, developed and implemented information systems for IBM mainframe, IBM-compatible personal computers ad Tandem computers.Results: Created a competitive advantage computer system which helped position the company as an industry leader. This system enabled electronic ordering. Trained food service customers on how to use computers to run their businesses more effectively.
