It’s why at age 26, I decided to pave my own career path by launching Instigator Communications, a boutique PR agency specializing in brand marketing, corporate reputation and digital content strategy. Over a decade, I grew Instigator into a formidable competitor, with clients spread across a range of industries: retail, hospitality, food and beverage, health, sports, technology, CPG.Over the years, I’d been approached with many different career offers, but in 2017, I was presented with an opportunity I couldn’t pass up: managing director at Zeno Canada. The scrappy culture of the firm appealed to my fearlessness, and the role offered new opportunities to foster my entrepreneurial spirit, with the latitude and freedom to grow. And grow we have. Zeno Canada has tripled in size and developed a roster of diverse new clients, capabilities and talent. In fact, 22 team members now drive our fiercely independent agency, up from just seven in just over three years.I credit my early entrepreneurial days to my ability to jump into myriad roles, from strategist to creative thinker, from media relations guru to business development master. An ability to pivot while continuously pursuing excellence has translated into exceptional results for my clients.
