Where she advises clients on all matters of employment taxation and information reporting. She has extensive experience with federal, state and local withholding tax; information reporting; and unemployment insurance. Julie has led employment tax/payroll transition implementations and large volume informational reporting (1099/1042) consulting engagements, which encompassed end-to-end processing within a shared-service environment. Julie’s experience includes: • Federal, state and local income tax withholding and compliance, including withholding on nonresident individuals and entities; state backup withholding; executive compensation; equity compensation; and federal, state and local information return reporting.• Development of Chapter 61 (form 1099), Chapter 3 (Section 1441), Chapter 4 (FATCA) taxation and report compliance programs (vendor processing and in-house) • Employment tax vendor/systems interface leading practices and process review (including general ledger and accounts payable)• Development of compliance controls and tax process improvement protocols, fringe benefits, health, retirement, nonqualified deferred compensation, and employee stock plans.•
