As Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, I lead the team responsible for JBU’s brand management, strategic marketing, social media, website and public relations, as well as supporting the enrollment offices for undergraduate, graduate and online undergraduate programs. I work closely with JBU’s president on strategic communication initiatives and am a member of the President's Cabinet. Additionally, I oversee the University Events office, which manages internal events and external revenue-generating events such as weddings, conferences and summer camps. I also serve on JBU’s Diversity Committee and the Crisis Response Team and lead the university’s crisis communication strategy. Before JBU, I spent nearly 20 years in corporate, church and international NGO marketing and communication roles in Texas and Arizona. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 30+ years, and we have four adult children through birth and adoption. I am also the author of "You Can Adopt Without Debt: Creative Ways to Cover the Cost of Adoption," which has been featured on The Dave Ramsey Show and The Rachel Cruz Show.I love to do DIY projects around our house, read voraciously and travel internationally.
