I stumbled my way into hotel sales 16 years ago, just to try a new industry. I had a bit of hospitality experience, so knew I could do the job. I never expected the fun I was going to have in this industry. The best part is providing clients the customer service they deserve, and being a part of the planning of a successful event / conference for their attendees and seeing the end result. My success in the industry is attributed to the ability to be seen as trustworthy to the client by being "open" with my feedback of how to make their event successful, being timely in communication of information, and the plan for efficiency with both the client and our business.
